Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Programmer/Engineer to join our rapidly growing software development team. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in Azure cloud services and will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain applications on the Azure platform.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Assist in the evaluation of new Azure services and provide recommendations.
5. Drive best practices in Cloud Computing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
6. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
7. Continually research and evaluate emerging technologies to stay ahead of the technological curve.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the application and infrastructure levels.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of [3 years] experience in software development with a focus on the Azure platform.
3. Proficiency with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service, etc.
4. Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, etc.
5. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and related practices.
6. Proficient in one or more programming languages, preferably C#, .NET Core, Python, or Node.js.
7. Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, cloud operations, and cloud cost optimization.
8. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Azure certifications, such as AZ-204 (Azure Developer) or AZ-303/304 (Azure Architect).
2. Experience in a microservices architecture.
3. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
