Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployments.
2. Automate and streamline deployment, scaling, and management processes using modern DevOps practices and tools.
3. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to AWS environments.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and application failures.
5. Implement security measures to protect AWS environments and data.
6. Manage configuration management tools, scripts, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
7. Perform infrastructure provisioning, management, and updates using IaC tools.
8. Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely response to production incidents.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, availability, and performance.
10. Stay updated with AWS services and best practices to optimize and enhance existing infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources.
2. Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning.
3. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
5. Ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
6. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, etc.
7. Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Java) for automation and configuration management.
8. Understanding version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices.
9. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Prometheus/Grafana.
10. Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in AWS environments.
11. Experience with networking concepts, VPCs, and security groups in AWS.
12. Knowledge of DevOps culture, practices, and principles.
