• Acts as a trusted advisor to the country leadership team on people related matters by providing expertise, support and coaching in all aspects of HR management
• Plans and implements HR and people initiatives and change programs in alignment with the business goals and strategies
• Manages the constant improvement and delivery of people programs and HR processes, policies and practices which includes development and retention, annual performance management, compensation and benefits review, learning and development activities, organizational design support, employee engagement programs and organization wide communication
• Provides advisory support and coaching to Managers to manage employee relations and industrial relations matter
• Collaborates closely with other HR teams to deliver on the people programs either on a regional or country level
• Oversees all compliance and governance requirements relating to people matters to ensure risks are effectively managed

Qualifications

Best matched candidate to the role will have: 

• a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, social studies, science or engineering 
• at least 8 years of relevant experience in HR generalist role gained from sizable and multinational companies in dynamic and fast moving industry
• obtained at least 3 years of industrial relations experience 
• proven track record in implementing and driving progressive HR practices, initiatives and programs based on analytical HR data trend
• high familiarity with HRIS, preferably have used Workday or Success Factors 
• the ease in presenting proposals and data 
• the ability to manage varied stakeholders 
• excellent interpersonal skills with good communication skill and written English
• ability to “mentor” and influence leadership team and managers on people related matters
• a collaborative and empathetic work style with a high degree of humility
• an interest for the online and technology industry and bias towards innovative cultures
• possess a business partnering and service mindset when dealing with the various stakeholders
• the ability to work independently and cope with ambiguity
