Job Summary:

The Bakery Chef will be responsible for overseeing all bakery-related operations within our hotels and restaurants in Bali. From crafting delectable pastries to designing innovative baked goods, the chef will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience and delighting our guests with a wide range of enticing treats.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Baking and Pastry Production:

   - Create a diverse selection of bakery items, including traditional pastries, cakes, bread, and other baked goods.

   - Ensure all baked items are of the highest quality, taste, and presentation and produced in a timely manner.

2. Menu Development:

   - Collaborate with the culinary team to curate and update bakery items regularly, aligning them with the overarching concept and style of our establishments.

3. Kitchen Management:

   - Manage the bakery kitchen efficiently, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols.

   - Oversee ingredient inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain a seamless production process.

4. Training and Development:

   - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, imparting knowledge and expertise to elevate the overall baking capabilities of the team.

6. Collaboration:

   - Work closely with other culinary teams to create integrated process, receive customer feedbacks that combine bakery products with other cuisines within the hotel and restaurant group.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, with a focus on pastries and baked goods.

- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and delicious bakery items.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Updated knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

- Formal culinary education or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
