Samara Lombok is seeking an experienced and highly-organized grant manager to join our team., based in Bali, Indonesia. Salary is commensurate with experience. 

Grant managers are responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of grant programs. They work with donors, non profits, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and manage projects related to these grants.

Grant managers may also be involved in identifying new sources of funding or creating partnerships from Singapore, UN, and European Institution, that can help organization achieve its goals

Responsibilities  

• Conduct research on potential funding sources that align with the organizations mission and develop strategies for approaching them
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all grant-related inquiries
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, funders, and other stakeholders
• Write and edit grant proposals, reports, and other related materials
• Negotiating terms with donors to obtain maximum funding for project
• Manage and monitor all aspects of awarded grants, including progress reports and compliance with funder guidelines
• Providing guidance and support to other staff members regarding grant requirements and procedures
• Keep accurate records of all grant activities and correspondence
• Prepare financial reports and budget projections for grant-funded projects
• Conducting audits to ensure that funds have been spent according to the grant agreements stipulations
• Attend conferences and workshops related to grant writing and management
• Serve on internal and external committees related to grant writing and management
• Train and mentor staff on grant-related topics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

        Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or related field

        10+ years proven accounting experience

        Professional accounting certification

        Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards

        Strong understanding of economic and banking processes

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

        5+ years experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager

        Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis Proven payroll experience, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes

        Exemplary history of financial project management

        Working knowledge of tax compliance regulations and reporting

        CPA highly prefered
