Responsibilities

• Supporting production to setup new equipment according to manufacturing specification set by Manufacturing engineer.

• To achieve and monitor the performance of newly setup equipment according to the targeted quality of output.

• To fabricate and prepare different types of products that will be use on the setup of new equipment required by Manufacturing engineer.

• To setup an operation instruction and machine safety procedure according to requirement set by Manufacturing engineer.

• Assisting Manufacturing Engineer to make improvement on existing equipment/machine in ways such as eliminating 7 lean waste such as implementing Automatization on existing manual process.

• To support Manufacturing Engineer on implementing productivity drive-in ideas and new kaizen ideas.

You will be part of

Equipment Engineering Team that delivers new equipment/machine to be used at Philips manufacturing line.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following;

• Fresh Graduate from D3/S1 bachelor’s degree in electrical (EE) or Mechanical (ME) or Mechatronics Engineering (EE/ME).

• Hands on PLC program using Omron or Beckhoff preferred (EE).

• Excellent understanding on Electrical Schematic drawing and electrical control system (EE).

• Hands on CAD/CAM design software AutoCAD or Solid works (2D/3D) preferred (ME).

• Familiar with pneumatic system and pneumatic control (ME).

• Experience for setting up new equipment or machine for manufacturing process or Experience in machine/equipment design is a plus.

• Must possess problem solving skills and have a good understanding on Problem solving tools.

• Fluent in English both verbal and written.

• Team up, take ownership and continuous learning attitude.
