We are looking for a Senior Java Developer as a part of a creative, forward-thinking team. 

Responsibilities

As the Senior Java Developer, you will provide expert technical advice and counsel to management, including assisting in defining the technical direction. You will develop enterprise solutions for business customers. Additionally, you will:

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and documents software systems, components, and utilities
• Performs complex maintenance and problem resolution on software application
• Collaborates with other departments on requirements, design, standards, and architecture of applications
• Adheres to standards for software development with emphasis on test driven development and quality of software
• Participates in release planning and deployments
• Assist in problem resolution, during daily and monthly production cycles
• Assist customers and team members in issue resolution and problem solving
• Participate in code reviews and status meetings
• Promotes Agile Scrum development methodology

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience with software development of Java applications
• More than 3 years of experience with the J2EE framework
• More than 3 years of experience with object-oriented concepts
• More than 3 years of experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL Server, and integrations of the database with Java applications
• More than 3 years of SQL experience
• More than 3 years of experience with Java IDEs like Eclipse
• Developer background with proven experience building enterprise systems and collaborating with multiple teams
• Experience with open source frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize, and plan work to satisfy established timeframes
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Analytical skills and problem solving skills
• Customer-service oriented attitude and attention to detail
• Strong ability to learn
