Purchasing Agent L1 will be responsible for, but not limited to, purchasing activities, procurement of material, equipment, and services; establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, including review of vendor performance; price negotiation and analysis; purchase order processing; material tracking and follow-up relating to delivery, receipt of material, freight claims and returns; invoice review and reconciliation; processing orders for approval and review of existing order for proper approval; preparation and processing of RFP’s, RFQ’s, and SOW’s including review of vendor proposals and recommendation for award of order/contract. Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Working at NTT

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Create Purchase Order (PO) and send to vendor.
2. Negotiating with vendor for the price, term of payment and delivery time.
3. Monitoring all outstanding PO and update info to requester.
4. Update PO report.
5. Quarterly report to Global/Regional progress of value capture.
6. Conduct vendor review annually.
7. Verify all invoice from vendor before submit to AP team.
8. Circulate Vendor Form to new vendor and collect all supporting documentation for review before accepting as registered vendor.
9. Update vendor master database.
10. Searching for comparable vendor in case requested did not provide.
11. Searching for vendor (if required) relate with request from divisions for purchase of service or good.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

1. Having good negotiation and communication skills.
2. Having vast network with principal, reseller (IT and communication area) - preferable
3. Well organized in filing.
4. Honest and trustworthy.
5. Background of accounting/management (preferable)
6. Having experience in procurement/ or as procurement staff at least 1 year (preferable)
7. Fluent English skills (Written & Verbal)
