TANK & TOWER MANAGER
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Recognized Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and or prior work experience or apprenticeship leading to a thorough understanding of knowledge describe.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years broad experience in all project phases i.e Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) as the same position but not limited to Tank Inspection, Scheduling and Planning, Cost Control, Commissioning and Start-up. Where the last five years served as Tank Construction Manager or Tank Technical Manager/Engineer.
- Worldwide experience from reputable Tank EPC Contractors, Tank Building Company or Vendors in particular onshore production facilities is a plus.
- Project Management Skills on Time Spent Planning, Leading, Directing and Managing Projects.
REQUIREMENT / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiar with various international standard, material specification per ASTM, mechanical tank design, process design, material handling, rigging, tanks, piping & allied subject, knowledge process engineering & quality standard.
- Knowledgeable in Tank erection, Piping and equipment assembly and testing, Tank Insulation up to Tank Box-up and handover.
- Able to create construction look-ahead schedule, work-front analysis, material estimate and cost analysis, manpower sizing, tank construction scheduling, construction equipment sizing and recommendation.
- Knowledgeable in Tank Welding and NDT techniques, process and applications per AWS or equivalent British Standard (BS).
- Familiar with other related technologies including tank material metallurgy and welding procedure and specification.
- Review Crane Lifts, Plans, Monitoring and Promoting safe rigging practice.
- Ability to review and comment technical and commercial documents.
- Capable to work with diverse culture to obtain world-class performance.
- Familiar with design, construction and alteration codes/standard requirements relating to mechanical tank design, pressure vessel and material selection for Metallic and Non-Metallic Tank such API 650, API 620, API 653, ASME V, ASME VIII, ASME IX, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API or BS for FRP Tanks.
- Strong leadership, organizational, time management skills and construction supervisory skills.
- Excellent on problem-solving, decision making and high analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally in English (verbal & written).
