As QC supervisor you will be in charge of:Â
- Conduct evaluations and ensure overall status of incoming and new raw materials, using glovia system.
- Manage the overall QC status of all final products and issue the appropriate type of labels for every final product.
- Perform glovia transactions for final products to facilitate shipment.
- Issue various documents and reply technical enquiry raised internally or externally (example by customers).
- Conduct investigations on customers’ complaint samples or rejected items.
- Assist in stock Inventory and maintenance of laboratory apparatus and supplies
- Ensure preventive maintenance and external calibration of lab equipment is carried out duly.
- Ensure proper functioning and running of QC laboratories, in accordance with ISO9001, 5S, lean principle, ISO14000 and OSHAS 18001 standards and procedures.
- Leading team and provide support to team members.
- Assist and support in the implementation of continuous improvements in QA/QC functions.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
- Fluent in English
- At least 5Â Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Has experience in Flavor & Fragrance industries will be advantageous.
- Sensory skill, chemical analysis, Operating GC, microbiology
- Good Leadership, communication and interpersonal skill
- Good Team player
- Good Knowledge of MS office
- Good organizing and analytical skills
