Responsibilities :

Research and keep updated with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to designs, materials, fabric, and colors.

Meeting with owners to discuss design concepts and details, taking notes on sketches and mockups, and making sure they are implemented in the final product

Sketch designs and selects fabrics, patterns, colors, etc.

Determining fabric requirements for projects based on sketches or models

Communicating with other members of the design team such as tailors, and seamstresses who will be responsible for creating final products from sketches and patterns

Sourcing suppliers for fabric and materials

Oversee production, evaluate samples, and improve the design

Identify market trends to meet consumers' preference

Research and identify trend directions; create concept/mood boards, analyze collections

Coordinate follow-up with internal (Production team, Quality Control, Sales, and Marketing) and external partners, including technical design, production, and vendors

Know and understand customer needs and preference on fashion style trends

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design

Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Fashion Design field, womansWear designer is advantage

Able to demonstrate leadership and provide management with strategic recommendations for new products

Excellent in pattern making 

Has extensive knowledge of the industry market trends

Great interpersonal skills and communication skills

Passionate, creative, and enthusiastic in the Fashion Design profession

Skills required: Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, digital sketch, able to make tech pack

Able to operate Clo 3D is a plus

Knowledge: Pattern making, sewing
