An Account Manager (Sales) plays a critical role in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers or clients. They are responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

• Understand customers' needs and objectives.

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.

• Forecast sales and track performance against targets.

• Prepare and deliver regular reports and updates to management.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Market Research:

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

• Identify potential new clients and opportunities for business expansion.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to the customer's needs.

• Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate products or services for Customer.

Problem-Solving:

• Address and resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely manner.

• Escalate complex issues to higher management when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (in some cases, relevant experience may substitute for formal education).

• Proven experience in sales or account management, often with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
