The candidates should possess the following:
Job Description:
- Aged minimum 35 years old;
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Assistant Manager in procurement section ;
- Well experienced in procurement/ purchasing negotiation;
- Well experienced planning for localization vendors (domestic - import parts);
- Strong in Leadership skill and honest;
- Good analytical thinking, good in teamwork;
- Good command of written and spoken English ;
- Deep knowledge in ERP system;
Job Description:
- Liaise with other departments regarding their requirements and work within their available budgets to source materials/services appropriate to their needs;
- To source and purchase goods and services in line with any budget requirements;
- Report frequently to Cost Management dept about price, vendors, market, budget and the company’s requirements;
- Research new markets and present data to support your finding and recommendations;
- Source for new suppliers in order to ensure the best possible goods and services are being obtained at the best possible price;
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers (international or domestic) and negotiate annual pricing strategies;
- Inventory control, monitoring stock, and supply;
