Lowongan GIS/CAD Drafter Specialist di PT Smoe Indonesia

• Drafting support to the Lead Surveyors and Office Surveyors on the Pluto Karratha jobsite.
• Prepare survey CAD drawings including generation of Digital Terrain Models (DTM) and volumes computations.
• Maintain GIS databases and update them as needed
• Identify the location of underground services and maintaining a drawing with as-built underground installations to support excavation permitting process.
• Develop excavation permit drawings and maintain underground services as-built survey data.
• Review and approve excavation and backfill permits.
• Provide Civil project completion data and documentation including "As-Built" records
• Coordinate directly with the Karratha jobsite personnel as required in the performance of duties.

GIS / Drafter Specialist must be good in:

Data Management:

•  Acquire, organize, and maintain geospatial data.
•  Ensure data accuracy, quality, and completeness.
•  Perform data conversion and integration tasks.

Map Creation and Design:

• Create maps and visualizations using GIS software.
• Customize map layouts for specific projects or purposes.
• Incorporate various data layers into maps.

Spatial Analysis:

• Conduct spatial analysis to solve problems.
• Perform geospatial modelling and statistical analysis.
• Identify patterns, trends, and relationships in geographic data.

Database Maintenance:

• Ensure data is current and reflects changes in the field.
• Perform database queries and reporting.

Software Proficiency:

• Expertise in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Troubleshoot software issues as they arise.

Data Visualization:

• Create interactive web maps and dashboards.
• Use cartographic principles to effectively communicate information.
• Present data in a clear and understandable manner.

Field Data Collection:

• Verify and validate field data for accuracy.
• Integrate field data into GIS databases.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with jobsite survey team daily
• Communicate GIS findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide support and training to colleagues in GIS use.

Geodatabase Design:

• Design and implement geodatabase schemas.
• Establish data relationships and maintain data integrity.
• Ensure proper data indexing and optimization.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct quality checks on GIS data and outputs.
• Develop and adhere to data standards and best practices.
• Address and resolve data-related issues promptly.

Environmental Analysis:

• Apply GIS in environmental assessments, conservation, and planning.
• Analyse spatial data to support environmental decision-making.
• Conduct impact assessments and risk analysis.
