Purpose

To accurately report financial statements, analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensure compliance, forecast future financial performance, and develop financial strategies to support business growth and success

Job Desk

• Overseeing financial operations: Managing the restaurant’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, A/P and A/R, cash management, and payroll.

• Analyzing financial data: Creating financial reports and analyzing data to gain insights into the restaurant’s financial performance and make recommendations for improvements.

• Forecasting and budgeting: Developing accurate financial forecasts and budgets for the various business departments.

• Cost Management: Evaluating and monitoring costs and expenses, and implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve profitability.

• Managing accounting and taxation: Ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Managing tax compliance and preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely filing and payment of all taxes.

• Financial planning: Developing and executing long–term financial plans that align with the restaurant’s vision and mission.

• Inventory control: Ensuring proper inventory control and stocking levels to optimize profits while minimizing waste and spoilage.

• Reporting daily, weekly, and monthly according to standard procedures to the General Manager.
