Job description & requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial control, reporting, and accounting, as well as audit experience, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indonesia's statutory law, financial and taxation regulations, and authorities.
  • Expertise and deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Experience with the accounting system is a plus, preferably Xero.
  • Smart, diligent, has a growth mindset, and can work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Description:

  • Lead end-to-end budgeting processes, financial forecasting and statutory reporting to group
  • Manage and oversee accounting operations and records.
  • Compute G&A invoices in an accounting system.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide expert financial perspectives, opinions, advisory, and information to executive management and key stakeholders.
  • Establish, execute, and strengthen internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures to safeguard revenue, costs, expenditures, and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory & regulatory requirements.
  • Understand the company business and build the business case for specific opportunities by identifying market potential, cost outlay, the investment return, and funding needs.
  • Lead all necessary change management required to implement new standards and processes.

Often we are faced with a lot on our plate. We are challenged to take care of everything fast without decreasing the quality of our output. We might think it’s impossible to do but we believe every challenge is an opportunity for us to invent better solutions by hacking the process and putting the correct puzzle piece in the right place.

Be brave, ask questions, take action 

Most people do things just because they are instructed to or they think that it makes sense. Everyone should always question things. “Why do we do this? What is the objective? How will we do this? What the impact will be?”. Remember the old sayings malu bertanya sesat di jalan. If we don’t ask, we will certainly get lost. If we aren’t brave enough, we are letting others making false move without their knowing. If we don’t do anything, we will achieve nothing.
