Drive improvement in data quality to fulfill specified requirements with the goal of enabling the faster roll-out of AI projects. Conduct regular data quality monitoring on AI solutions.

In your new role you will:

• Effectively interface between the business & IT/FI departments by (a) translating business requirements into IT/FI requirements (b) explaining complex IT/FI concepts to business users.
• Describe & document data quality dimensions for his/her data asset.
• Quantify data quality performance and define current performance levels.
• Monitor data quality performance.
• Understand & close gaps in performance to achieve set targets.
• Describe & document in data quality assessment documents.
• Identify root cause of data quality issues, proactively bring stakeholders together to Identify suitable improvement actions & put together into execution plan.
• Follow-up closely with stakeholders to ensure actions implemented as per plan & address deviations, Validate data quality improvements after implementation.
• Describe & document in data catalog platform (in collaboration with IT Data Steward).
• Assess how proposed changes to operational processes (for data management & governance within the domain) would impact/be impacted by assigned data assets. Provide feedback to Data Owner for consideration.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Mathematics /Statistics / Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in semiconductor visual inspection with good equipment and/or process knowledge. In-depth knowledge of the visual inspection data streams would be an advantage.
• 3+ years of relevant working experience in Data Management including data architecture, data quality, and data integration.
• Programming skills with scripting languages such as Python, and SQL.
• Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies
• Excellent data literacy skills and ability to comfortably navigate through relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of the operational area they are responsible for, including understanding the processes, systems, rules, and requirements.
• Strong functional understanding of business aspects in relation to data flows, data sources, usage, purpose, etc.
• Strong knowledge of the Data life cycle.
• Good understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Good understanding of technical infrastructure used in the organization,e.g. DBMS, virtualization layer, etc.
• Good understanding of data and information concepts
