KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify potential business deals in some industries according to the business plan by analyzing market strategies, deal requirement, potentials, financials etc.
- Proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers, discovering and exploring opportunities
- Develop negotiation strategies and positions, examining risks and potentials etc.
- Performs sales activities, find new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers
- Negotiates sales price, discounts (if any), integrate contract requirements with business operations in consultation with Management
- Develops plans to ensure revenue growth and meet monthly and yearly sales target
- Reviews progress of sales on monthly basis, provide monthly sales revenue report
- To organize and schedule work plan for project related works, make close coordination with Service and Maintenance Department to arrange work schedule within the expected time table.
- To monitor progress of project, schedule, and update the customer of the progress as well as conduct inspection at site to ensure that the works fulfill the customer’s requirement and expected delivery time
- To identify the customer’s need and requirements, resolve any customer complaints regarding sales and services problems
- To communicate with superior and other related Department i.e Service and Maintenance Department about any issues that might interfere with the execution of master schedule
- To manage and ensure internal sales procedures are followed
- Coordinate with other Department i.e Accounting & Finance, Sales and Maintenance and Service for effective communication and reporting system, consultation and ensure alignment of standards and practices
- Maintaining good knowledge of products and services
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Assist management in reviewing selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least Bachelor Degree
- Having good communication skills and highly motivated is a must
- Strong network with key person in various industries is a plus
- Having work experience at least 4 years in Sales or Marketing Department in material handling business (preferably hoist & crane, oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, and shipbuilding related companies)
- Experiences with business development and sales plan and strategies
- Having knowledge in Quality Management System / ISO 9001:2015 Certification is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills, familiar with proposal and tendering activities
- Good leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect
- Good knowledge in Customer Relationship Management
- Good analytical skills and business reporting skills
- Good problem solving, negotiation skills and decision making
- Fluency in English both speaking and writing, Japanese proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
