- Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market
- Communicate the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the process
- Plan and take part in the launch of new products and involve several different departments in such launches
- Review inventory levels and ensure product availability
- Establish timescales for development of new products with other departments
- Do market research to determine product information (pricing, position, campaign activity, etc)
- Speak and present about products to both external and internal audience
- Test new products
- Research competitor activity regarding product promotion and campaign
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services
- Negotiate contratc with vendors and advertisement supplier
- Formulate and develop product specifications such as design, color, and packaging
- Conduct for product launch, exhibition, dealer gathering, and other promotion activities
