Job Purpose:

Responsible for the overall health and safety of farm livestock and work closely with the farm management to ensure the farm livestock is being properly fed, exercised and cared for. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, implement and monitor farm flock health program.
• Maintain good level of hygiene and biosecurity measurements in the farms (this includes checking on any inadequacy, advising farm management for improvement and conduct training/awareness program to the workers.)
• Supervise the work process of vaccination of chicks.
• Routinely checking the health of livestock and ensure good farm flock health conditions and feeding practices.
• Enforce farm sanitation practice to prevent the spread of disease.
• Troubleshoot and advise on illness symptoms and disease.
• Responsible for farm compliance issues on audit and regulatory requirement.

Requirements:

• Must possess Professional Degree in Doctor Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Institute Pertanian Bogor, University Gadjah Mada or University Airlangga
• At least 5 years of working experience in poultry farming operation.
• Possess strong knowledge and skills in animal husbandry, poultry flock health, farm biosecurity control and managing crisis during disease outbreak.
• Able to speak fluent English and possess good communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Independent with minimum supervision needed, good teamwork and strive for continuous learning and high performance.
• Candidate must be willing to be based in East Malaysia i.e.; Kuching, Kota Kinabalu or Tawau
• Candidate require to state which work location he/she will like to apply : Kuching, Kota Kinabalu or Tawau
