Lowongan Senior ESG Manager di PT Amtek Engineering Batam

This Position will be placed in Batam.

The Senior ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Manager will works with Regional, and Site level management teams to execute company Environmental, Health and Safety policies and identify best practices to continuously improve the safety and environmental systems at each site location. This position must work closely with local site team to ensure compliance to all applicable local regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with local authorities on matters pertaining to compliance obligations (as per Indonesian Law) on environmental, health & safety and energy.
• Demonstrate understanding of safety, environmental, energy regulations and company policy; including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, CDC/Public Health guidance, RBA (EICC), ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO 50001.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable EHS Policies.
• Analyse safety and environmental metrics and review incidents, track weekly and monthly incidents to discover trends and rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
• Assist with site safety audits and help to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to identified risks and prevent injury.
• Assist with site environmental audits to help identify potential gaps in compliance and identify areas for improvement to minimize negative environmental impacts, such as energy, water or waste reduction projects.
• Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviours to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
• Seek input from Safety teams, Associates and leaders on safety program improvement opportunities. Ensure open communication on status of progress and resolution against these suggestions.
• Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Assist in incident investigations, both onsite and remotely, to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions.
• Support site teams with conducting Risk Assessments and PPE Assessments.
• Collect details of lessons learned and good practices and work with the Global ESG team to develop standard to communicate to all sites.
• Help in the analysis of data relating to environmental, health and safety metrics as needed for monthly, quarterly and annual reviews.
• Lead and Collaborate with site teams to ensure ISO14001, 45001 and ISO 50001 Management certifications are successfully maintained.
• Stay up to date and communicate any imminent concerns with local and Corporate teams, relating but not limited to major weather events, pandemic or localized outbreak events, and similar localized risks.
• Coordinate with Regional support departments and site teams to ensure timely response to customer surveys and questionnaires relating to Conflict Minerals, Labor Rights, REACH/RoHS, GHG Emissions, etc.
• Assist on Energy and water reduction programs as per Sustainability Improvement plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability or Safety with manufacturing, technical machine and facilities management and energy management experience.
• Registered as Safety and Health Officer with (Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Indonesia)
• Competent person with CePSWaM certification certified by DOE and DOSH
• 5+ years of growing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs and management systems in manufacturing, production operations including direct experience with Plating, Stamping, Molding and facilities equipment.
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of pivot tables and the development of charts and graphics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO 50001 trained Internal Auditors.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Dynamic background with a strong technical knowledge of machinery and safety controls.
• Deep knowledge in LOTO and machine guarding controls including automation controls. 
• Self-motivated and goal- oriented individual.
• Experience with safety, environmental and/or energy management programs in manufacturing, production operations including direct experience with Plating, Stamping, Molding and facilities equipment.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and projects remotely.
