Finance Manager

Samara Lombok is seeking out a Finance Manager with exceptional organizational, problem-solving and communication skills, based in Bali, Indonesia. Salary is commensurate with experience. 

Responsibilities  

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and all transactions)
• Participate in strategic data analysis and research for senior company leadership
• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements including government investment reporting
• Prepare weekly business activity reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts in a timely manner
• Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, inventory etc
• Manage tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, annual statutory accounts, and other financial needs as necessary including external tax services and auditors
• Lead and guide the subordinates in daily financial operation workflow, credit control, and petty cash management
• Oversee month-end processes including ensuring the completion of General Ledger and Balance Sheet and P&L statements
• Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of Finance
• Support the Director of Finance is working with the Directors, General Manager & Founders around budgets, spending, reporting, and financial accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization
• Experience using financing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial and accounting software
• Experience managing the annual audit and preparing annual financial statements
