Job Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of IPP Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
• Good understanding of Key Performance Index in power plant performance
• Knowledge of GateCycle, OSIsoft PI, and Thermoflow
• Knowledgeable of relevant industry specifications, codes, and standards, such as ASME, API, ANSI, ISO, NFPA, and JIS
• Ability to develop a power plant performance monitoring tool
• Excellence in reporting, a good understanding of writing with the structured concept, a clear explanation as well as focus on the subject
• Understanding how to review power plant operating reports, trends and evaluate power plant performance
• Understanding how to review the station’s contracts and other related material to gain an understanding of plants' production requirements, operations, maintenance regimes, business strategy processes, and overall performance requirements
• Experience in finding potential improvements in plant performance
• Able to identify, determine feasibility and quantify benefits or specific power plant improvements to elevate performance (cost-benefit analysis)
• Good attitude and ability to cooperate with power plant staff to facilitate data collection and on the other hand perform power plant improvements to elevate performance
• Ability to establish and maintain regular communication and consultation (formal and informal) with colleagues and primary points of contact involved with power plants
• Thorough understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality programs related to the power plant industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent personal and communication skills internally and externally
