We are currently seeking a Asia Pacific Junior Export Manager to join our client's esteemed seat and cases original equipment manufacturer for the motorcycle industry.

OUR CLIENTS :

Our client is a part of the NAD industrial group, founded in 1973 in Barcelona (Spain). With more than 50 years of experience, our client has become a leading seats and cases Original Equipment Manufacturer for the Motorcycle Industry. it has presence in more than 80 countries, and their motorcycle cases are globally recognized as the most design-awarded with patents such as the unique eXpandable case for the Aftermarket.

MAIN OBJECTIVE :

Increase sales and market share of SHAD in Asia Pacific countries.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Develop and implement export strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This includes identifying new markets, developing marketing plans, and setting sales goals.
  2. Research and analyze foreign markets to identify new business opportunities. This involves gathering information on market size, growth potential, competition, and regulations.
  3. Develop relationships with potential customers, partners, and other stakeholders in target markets. This can be done through attending trade shows, networking, and cold calling.
  4. Negotiate and execute contracts with foreign clients. This includes understanding the terms of trade, such as price, payment terms, and shipping arrangements.
  5. Understanding the logistics of exporting goods, including shipping, customs, and insurance. This ensures that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to export control, sanctions, and anti-corruption. This can be a complex and ever-changing area, so it is important to stay up to date on the latest requirements.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. This information can be used to improve the company's export strategy and ensure that it is meeting the needs of its customers.
  8. Report on the progress of the export program to senior management. This includes providing information on sales, market share, and activities.
  9. Preparing marketing materials and presentations
  10. Attending motorcycle trade shows
  11. Writing reports and proposals

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. Experience in Sales Department (same as above) for at least 5 years:
  2. Proven experience as export manager (dealing with importers and distributors from other countries)
  3. proven experience developing a distribution network (distributors, wholesalers and retailer).
  4. Proven experience supervising a sales team.
  5. Not interested in people working for retailers/shops selling to end user.
  6. Experience in motorcycle sector for at least 2 years (if possible, not mandatory)
  7. Capable of developing a Sales plan and execute it.
  8. Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Good in Speeches / Presentations, etc.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Fluent English (very important).
  2. Driving License would be appreciated (not mandatory)
  3. Skilled with Microsoft Office (especially “Excel” & “power point” program).
  4. Motorcycle Lover (not mandatory)
  5. ·Ready to travel every 2 months to other countries for one week.
  6. ·Jakarta area residence
