Our client is the largest oleochemical manufacturing company is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Manager:

Key Responsibilities:

- System Design: involved in the design of electrical and instrument systems, including power distribution systems, control panels, instrumentation layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics. They consider factors such as safety, reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

-      Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical and instrument systems. This includes coordinating with contractors, conducting inspections, testing and troubleshooting equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and verifying that systems are operational and safe.

- Maintenance and Repair: E&I Engineers are responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and instrument systems. They develop maintenance plans, schedule routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance tasks, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that electrical and instrument systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards. They identify potential hazards, implement safety measures, perform risk assessments, and ensure that systems are properly grounded, protected against electrical faults, and equipped with safety devices.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical and instrument systems, including equipment specifications, maintenance logs, calibration records, and safety documentation. They prepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance with regulations.

- Upgrades and Modifications: As technologies evolve and systems require upgrades or modifications, assessing the feasibility and impact of proposed changes. They evaluate equipment performance, recommend improvements, and implement changes to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and functionality.

- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Mastering in diagnosing and resolving electrical and instrument-related issues. They use their knowledge of systems, instrumentation, control circuits, and software to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a large chemical/oleochemical manufacturing facility.
• Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation) or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Possesses extensive knowledge and skills in E & I, including DCS/PLC/network/field instruments/loop diagrams/electrical distribution/package equipment (such as chiller/boiler/TOH/compressor, etc.).
• Demonstrates excellent understanding of plant maintenance management and strategic planning.
• Resourceful in obtaining technical support when needed.
• Exhibits strong organizational and task execution abilities.
• Experienced in managing significant plant turnarounds.
• Previous experience in the oleochemicals manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
• Have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
