Key Performance Areas:

• Supports department’s control environment

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly close cycles

• Analyses actual to variant budgets/prior month

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains Documentation for all transactions

• General ledger

• Fixed asset subledger

• Prepares journal entries as needed, including:

  • prepaid amortization

  • lease entries

  • calculating depreciation

  • deferred revenue

  • intercompany transactions

• Manages monthly needs, including:

  • Account reconciliations

  • Balance sheet

  • P&L reporting package

• Responsible for Inventory, rentals, and fixed asset transactions

• Internal Controls

• Ad-hoc projects and reports as requested

• Resolves complex accounting issues

• Implements improvements to accounting processes and procedures

• Assists with internal and external audits

• Ensures accurate intercompany balances are posted promptly

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily during a 90-day probationary period. Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with five plus years of experience. A demonstrated competence in MS Office, and a strong ability to use MS Excel to solve problems. Public accounting experience would be a plus.

Language Skills:

English will be a natural working language and other local languages would be an asset. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret accounting guidance, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal customers, external auditors, or fellow financial professionals in an appropriate manner.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply logical and mathematical concepts to financial and operational matters.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of financial and accounting information.
