PT Lotte Mart Indonesia (LOTTE Mart) and PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia (LOTTE Grosir) are looking for a General Merchandising Manager (Fresh Food) who is able to thrive in inspiring and leading people, has a strong retail merchandising background within Fresh Foods, can develop and motivate teams to achieve the best possible results for the company's business and the category.

Job Details :

• Plan and direct all aspects of the organizations strategic sourcing initiatives, objectives, programs, and policies for Fresh Food sectors.
• Drive volume and grow the business portfolio in accounts and on an annual, monthly, customer, and brand basis in the Fresh Food area.
• Analyze large amounts of data for the category including; range performance, customer buying habits, and trends in the market and turn this into accurate reports including; stock levels, sales, and markdowns to identify potential P&L to propose a strategic action plan around competitive bidding and sourcing on an ongoing basis and ensure achievements.
• Coordinate with related parties as a team work to support the store and ensure that the fresh products have been delivered according to store orders with good quality and competitive prices.
• Make regular store visits to understand the store operation including customers and can be able to support routine problems such as the quality of the product after arrival to stores, stock, display and etc. as teamwork to solve the problem.
• Monitor the performance of Fresh Food Products, identify route causes of the shortfall, and plan actions to improve performance.
• Passion for consumer goods, deep understanding of the trends and competitive market.

Requirements :

• Minimum 10 years of experience as Merchandising Manager of Fresh Food or 5 years as General Manager in Fresh Food from Retail or similar industry.
• Excellent Negotiation and Persuasive Selling Skills; a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors/suppliers is a plus.
• Knowledge of purchasing and forecasting systems.
• Possess field or relevant business experience where a solid understanding of marketing, merchandising, consumer research and financial management practices have been gained.
• Excellent understanding of store operations and merchandising methodologies and practices, P&L and financial management.
• Strong financial, mathematical, statistical, marketing, merchandising, and consumer research background to read, interpret, and understand how internal and external factors influence financial results.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and experienced in taking initiative and making decisive yet appropriate decisions.
• Excellent supplier management skills.
• Strong in analytical and strategic / conceptual thinking
• Innovative, good communication skills, detail and result / target oriented.
• Willing to be placed in our Head Office, Ciracas, Jakarta Timur.
