Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Do administrative matters related to Compensation and Benefits
- Clean reported data and checks the quality of data
- Provide the necessary supporting data related to Compensation and Benefits issues
- Prepare data for related payroll
- Calculates the variable pay for employees under the close supervision of a C&B specialist (bonuses, incentives, stock option plans, etc)
- Maintain compensation changes using defined rules (salary changes, variable pay changes, incentive plan change/allocations)
- Advice other members of the HR team on basic C&B topics
- Analyses the compensation data against the compensation policies and reports non-compliant cases and behavior
- Learns C&B processes and practices to advance the career
- Process the distribution of pay and benefits information to the organizations employees
- Ensure that pay and benefits plans comply with federal and state regulations
- Advises and informs employees of benefits-related changes, including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
- Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
- Conducts employee surveys, census, and other research and demographic efforts required to collect accurate quotes from benefit providers.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a similar relevant field
- Attention to detail
- Previous working experience as a compensation and benefits specialist for (3) years
- Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices
- Good understanding of the full cycle of the people administration process
- Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
- Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS)
- Hands-on experience with quantitative and qualitative research on operational heavy HR service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowing PPH 21 or other tax issues is a plus
