Requirement :

1.  Understanding of various International Standards relating to valves

preferred

E.g API6A, API6D, API 600, API 598, API 607, ASME B16.34, ANSI 16.5, BPVC Sec. VIII & Sec. I.

2.  At least 2+ years experience in manufacturing environment, preferably valves.

3.  Knowledge of various materials, especially grades of steel and alloys with castings, forgings processing and machining operations.

4.  Extensive design experience in Gate, Ball, Globe, Butterfly, Check Valves.

5.  Understanding of manufacturing processes, especially for Valves;

6.  Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving abilities;

7.  Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach;

8.  Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment;

10.Understanding engineering, scientific and other technical information;

11.Ability to present date effectively;

12.Team working skills.

Responsibility :

1.  Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including

but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief

valves, etc.

2.  Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at Flotech facilities and client locations.

3.  Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job.

4.  Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.

5.  Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.

6.  Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.

7.  Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
