MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in management or business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant experience in the field of general management or business administration.
  • Strong leadership capability to lead a team to achieve goals and multiple agenda with firm deadlines which includes convincing high level senior leadership teams in solving the problems and navigating the challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with internal and external parties.
  • High level of organizational competency and ability to work independently, which includes developing and maintaining productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Good level of computer literacy using various tools such as Google Suites (doc, sheet, slide, form etc.)
  • Ability to think strategically, tactfully, creatively, and innovatively.
  • Campaign management and analysis including budget management.
  • Proven skills in brand development and positioning, competitor analysis, market research analysis, placing and monitoring content, website, and social media management.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in school admissions.

Desirable:

·        Proven successful experience in leading and managing an admissions team in an international school.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

This positions duties and responsibilities, but are not exclusive to are as the following:

Student Selection and Recruitment

  • Plan and oversee the overall life cycle of the admissions process of new students.
  • Organize and host prospective family visits, including well planned and appealing School tours.
  • Work with prospective families to ensure a smooth registration and enrollment process.
  • Oversee the systematic and efficient handling of applications including liaising with other departments and schools as necessary.
  • Welcome and settle in all new students and their parents, particularly on induction day.

Customer Management

  • Drive the formation of engagement with Parent and Student Ambassadors by working together with Marketing and Communications Units, the Head of Community Engagement as well as the Schools Senior Leadership Team in order to boost application and enrolment numbers.
  • Lead end to end high customer experience standard, by closely assisting applicants through the various stages of admission, from initial enquiry to induction.
  • Monitor the process of receiving, responding to and following up on all enquiries, in a timely, efficient and personalized way.
  • Oversee the communication of final decisions to applicants and their families.
  • Represent the school at various gatherings and conferences, primarily locally (Jakarta/Indonesia) and internationally.

Students Re-enrollment and Withdrawals

  • Manage the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year.
  • Oversee the withdrawal process for leaving students, including all paperwork.
  • Facilitate any testing required by leavers subsequent schools.

Business Development and Marketing Leads

  • Drive the collaboration with Marketing and Communications Units to support various initiatives and events led by Admissions Unit to boost enquiries, applications, and enrolment numbers including overseeing the materials contents, quality and design.
  • Follow-up leads initiated by the Development Unit in order to boost enquiries, applications, and enrolment numbers.

Students Administration & Data Management

  • Evaluate continually and redesign where appropriate all aspects of the admissions programme with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrolment of qualified students (including a waiting-list of qualified applicants where applicable).
  • Keep relevant statistics on all aspects of the admissions and re-enrolment programme, including undertaking trend analysis and 5-year future projections which will feed into the annual and outyear budget process.
  • Ensure the receipt of all necessary paperwork prior to an applicant joining the School.
  • Track and report on the Admissions pipeline and other Admissions data.
  • Maintain and develop a high-performing Admissions team.
  • Create and manage the Admissions budget.
  • Maintain and develop Admissions materials.

Other General Professional Duties

  • Actively promote and uphold all Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and responsible use of personal data in accordance with the relevant personal data protection policies and procedures within the school.
  • In liaison with the Line Managers, take responsibility for upholding Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practice within your own working area and be responsible for completing risk assessments/near misses as appropriate.
