Job Descriptions :

1)   Installation and Maintenance of Oracle Database Software

2)   Creating database storage structures

3)   Altering Database storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company/organization

4)   Monitoring Availability and Performance of the installed Databases

5)   Perform Backup (manual/automatic), Patching and Scheduled Activity on Database based on requirements

6)   Setting up Database connections and user accounts for accessing data

7)   Regularly updating database security protocols depending on findings and requirements

8)   Setup High Availability and additional database instances or components depending on the company/organizational requirements

9)   Setting up monitoring thresholds and alerts for automation

10) Cloning and Migration of database data using logical or physical backups depending on the requirements of company/organization

Skills Required :

1)   Experience of Installing, Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Managing Oracle Databases

2)   Familiarity with Backup Methods, Tools and Techniques

3)   Understanding of Database Components, Internal Structures and Organization

4)   Proficient in handling issues, reporting and resolving problems with Oracle Databases

5)   Working knowledge of Operating Systems, Scripting and Scheduling jobs

6)   Experience in Advanced configuration including High Availability, Replication, Cloning and Failover

7)   Ability to work in individually or in a team and deliver solutions
