Scope of Role  

As Copywriter for Careers & Connect Platform at SEEK Asia, you will report to the Senior Manager, Production & Creatives and be part of a team of passionate creatives, who share the goal of engaging and delighting key audiences. 

We are looking for a passionate wordsmith to join our dynamic regional team. As our copywriter, you’ll be our go-to for crafting words that inform and excite audiences. You're on top of it all - you know the bigger picture and have your finger on the pulse of culture and trends. You're all about your audience and make sure to keep them in mind with everything you write. That way, your content always hits the mark. You'll be challenged to come up with new and innovative ideas and turn them into amazing communications. You're a pro at making sure your writing is easy to read, interesting, and helpful. And you're comfortable with writing short phrases or long SEO-optimised articles, whatever it takes to get the message across. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Write original copy and edit content for a range of creative materials including (but not limited to) articles on JobStreet.com, seekMAX video platform copy, product copy and marketing collateral 
• Collaborate with different teams, including internal stakeholders and external agencies, from concept development to delivery of final copies 
• Research and understand our platform or project’s needs and target audiences, through online or competitor research, reviews of existing research, and/or interviews with users and subject-matter experts 
• Ensuring the brand voice is consistent across all channels 
• Explore writing styles for the various target audiences 
• Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content by working closely with Content Team

• Monthly MAUs and user engagement 
• Brand perception 
• Team productivity and communication 

Skills, Experience and Competencies  

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:  

• Minimum undergraduate degree program or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Media or any other related discipline 
• Experience in creative agencies, broadcast or OTTs is a bonus but not required 
• Business proficiency in English is required. 
• Digital native – possesses solid experience and familiarity with online business, digital technology and social media platforms 
• Customer-centric mindset – always striving to meet customer needs, viewing the journey from their perspective, and mindfully incorporating their feedback into solutions wherever possible 
• Innovator – continuously seeks to improve the status quo, conceives creative solutions to business problems and is willing to take a calculated risk to test them out early and often 
• Creativity – exhibits a keen and proactive interest in customer desires, market trends and competitor offerings, with the ability to research and apply this knowledge practically 
• Project management – a proven track record in driving timebound initiatives to a successful conclusion 
• Strong communication, research, and writing skills 
• Ability to write in various tones & voice to adapt to different target audiences 
• Strong command of written and spoken English 
• Detail-oriented
