Babyshop Fit Tech and Quality

responsible for the orientation of new factories and the education of existing factories on safety and technical competence on a regular basis. also responsible for the inspection of finished products for critical styles. Interfaces with merchandisers, vendors, suppliers and manufacturers for quality improvement and problems for specific inspection programs

• Have good connect with garment factories (knits/woven/denims), fabrics mills and material suppliers to ensure sourced products meet Babyshop requirements.
• Assist in end-to-end relationship management with suppliers, primary onboarding technical evaluation, upgrade, agreement and closure.
• Communicating Babyshop requirements to suppliers and engaging in initial discussion with suppliers on cost, quality, testing, compliance level.
• Capacity to work on open costings.
• Analyze vendor capacity and capability to make sure they deliver the right product and on time. Carry out factory and merchandise audits in line with Babyshop norms

Job Description:

• 7-10 years of experience working in Baby and Kids apparel Merchandising industry or related discipline.
• Knowledge on cross-functional team accountabilities including design, raw materials, sourcing, merchandising, costing and quality.
• Detailed oriented, with accuracy and precision.
• Excellent word processing and strong communication in English (verbal & written)
