Qualifications :

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelors Degree in Biotechnology/chemical engineering
• Minimum of 10 years industrial experience working in the related field.
• Proficiency in AutoDesk, AutoCAD and MS Products, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Common skills required : Project Management, Project Design, Requirement Analysis, Process Improvement, Problem-solving, Attention to Details, Math, and Creativity.
• Maintain cooperative, efficient, and good team working environment
• Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner
• Fluent in English both verbal and written

Job Descriptions :

• Primarily be responsible for all necessary Process Engineering requirements, be able to assimilate process diagrams / mass balance of Chemical / Biotech processing.
• Be able to review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives; identify project phases and elements.
• Be able to follow the process guidelines set up, provided by the technologists.
• Be able to assist in vendor selection for equipment, mechanical & electrical requirements of the processing plants, study suppliers offers. and negotiate techno commercial terms to obtain best fit for the purpose.
• Be able to follow up from the release of orders to observation of completion of erection and testing of plant equipment to match the requirements, also prepare necessary reports in a timely manner.
• Be responsible for overseeing any inspection by Government authorities, authorized visitors to the plant and prepare report to the management.
• Be able to develop and maintain close working relationship with site Engineers and experts from technology providers.
• Be able to set up safety standards and plan for sterile/clean and waste management procedures related to Process Engineering and laboratory works as per prevailing regulations and as guided by technology providers.
• Estimate project cost and operation expenses to enable preparation of quarterly / annual budget requirements for operation of the plant.
• Be able to perform quality control of process conditions at required stages to ensure fulfilment of process conditions by suppliers and prepare reports.
• Expected to maintain the highest professional aptitude with working discipline and be able to be a team player.
• Added qualification is experience in applying algae medium in transformation of biomass.
