Job Description
- Develops high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, in order to encourage loyalty.
- Responsible for the overall day- to – day operation.
- Monitors the Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive cordial, prompt attention and personal recognition, at all times.
- Ensures the smooth operation of the Front Office operations by using visible and aware of its requirements.
- Handles any guest’s problems. To ensure that any complaint or requested from guests have recorded, referred to appropriate department and to take immediate corrective actions.
- Ensures special handling and treatment of all VIP and Repeat Guest arrivals and departures.
- Ensure communication, coordination and cooperation between the Front Desk and other operating departments, specifically Sales, Housekeeping, F&B and Accounts.
- Performs any other duties assigned from time to times, as per Management’s direction.
- Liaise with Sales, F & B, Reservations and Business Development teams to handle corporate guests.
- Leads and motivates the team to create a good working atmosphere
- Implements a dynamic sales policy in conjunction with the sales department and develops the team's sales skills.
- Ensures the brand and/or Group's loyalty programme is promoted to guests.
- Ensures the team applies the inter-hotel coordination policy to encourage synergy within the marketplace.
- Updates dashboard charts (revenue, occupancy rates, average room rate, activity forecasts, headcount planning, etc)
- Manages the department's headcount for optimum efficiency.
Qualification.
- Vocational diploma or degree in hospitality - with min 1-3 years experience in simillar position (3-5 star chain),
- Minimum 3 years of operational management experience with strong Rooms, F&B, FO, SALES & MARKETING, HOUSEKEEPING, ROOM DIVISION Background or Experience in team management.
- Able to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect and analyze accurate information and resolve conflicts.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
- Through organization and supervisory skills.
- Excellent mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels.
- Proficient in accomplishing tasks,Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Highly motivated, good team player, passionate, adaptable, proactive, & guest oriented.
- Ability in responding a variety of work situation
