POSITION OVERVIEW 

Chief Financial Controller to perform effective risk management and plan the organizations financial budget and strategy. The person who will hold this position needs to be fluent in spoken and written English.

A CFC Chief Financial Controller must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.

This position will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Drive the companys financial budgeting and planning.

·       Set up and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

·       Coordinate, manage and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

·       Control and evaluate the organizations fundraising plans and capital structure

·       Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks

·       Set up and oversee the companys finance IT system

·       Supervise all finance personnel.

·       Manage vendor relationships.

·       Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

·       Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

·       Research technical accounting issues for compliance

·       Support month-end and year-end close process

·       Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

·       Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

·       Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

·       Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

·       Additional controller duties as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

·       Proven experience as Finance Controller, or relevant role

·       15+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

·       In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

·       Ability to strategize and solve problems

·       Strong leadership and organizational skills

·       Excellent communication and people skills

·       Ability to strategize and solve problems

·       CPA or CMA preferred

·       Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

·       Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

·       Experience with creating financial statements

·       Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

·       Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
