TOWNLAND is a leading and multi-national planning and design consultancy, providing urban and regional planning, master planning, urban design, landscape architecture, architecture and related services in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Chn, India and other locations in South East Asia.

We are currently engaged on some of the largest and most prominent development projects in the Asian Region, comprising a diversity of, inter alia, residential, commercial, mixed use and tourism developments.

We are seeking a Senior Urban Designer / Senior Urban Planner for our Jakarta office, PT. Townland International, to work on our rapidly growing portfolio of work across the Asian Region. Candidates will ideally possess/be:

SENIOR URBAN DESIGNER / SENIOR URBAN PLANNER

• Graduated from a reputable university with a degree in Architecture or Urban Planning, preferably with post graduate degree in Urban Design;
• Minimum of around 10 years’ of postgraduate experience as an Urban Designer / Planner;
• Experience in Urbanism, with a full understanding of Indonesian planning and design standards/regulations, as well as International Best Practice;
• Quality portfolio showing dedication to innovative planning and design solutions for complex urban issues;
• Highly creative, innovative and self-motivated, with a view to International recognition;
• Solid experience in the project management of signature projects and can be Client facing;
• Able to lead multiple projects at the same time;
• Able to coach and train Urban Designers towards a full understanding of sustainable design;
• Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills;
• Confident and highly skilled in design software, including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite Collection, Enscape and Microsoft Office;
• Excellent English (oral and writing) skills;
• SKA and other professional certifications are a plus;
• Willing to undertake domestic and International travel; and
• Able to represent us at International conferences and seminars.
