Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia (UOI) is one of the world's Oleochemical Company which located in Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Kabupaten Simalungun, North Sumatera, is welcoming high caliber professionals to come on board as part of our management team as PROCESS ENGINEER FATTY ALCOHOL.

Roles :

Responsible to manage and control operation of oleochemical factory to ensure plant to meet production volume target, quality specification and customer requirement, optimally and cost effective on time in full (OTIF), comply with environment and sustainability standard, include in maintaining and improving oleo chemical factory human resource morale, skill and knowledge.

Principal Responsibilities :

1. Fully involve in the commissioning process of the plant and ensure standards have been met
2. Provide technical expertise and support in the day production activities
3. Oversees and drives the achievement of the production goals
4. Drive improvement and efficiencies throughout the process, delivery of operational excellence and TPM
5. Manage production costs and improve deployment of resources to improve profitability
6. Support implementation of innovation and project initiatives within the plant
7. Ensure proper documentation of the production process and SOPs in line with the corporate guidelines
8. Prepare environmental impact and safety assessments as well as creating and maintaining a work environment that is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
9. Making the right decision for the operational issues to avoid accidents, damage to equipment and lost production time.
10. Proactive in implementing management systems and productivity improvement programs implemented by the company.
11. Evaluate the production target base on quality and quantity.
12. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and do appraisal.

Qualifications:

1. Minimal Bachelor degree in chemical engineering / chemistry engineering from reputable university
2. Minimal 5 years in the industrial or chemicals manufacturing facility
3. Capable to operate MS Windows, MS Office
4. Capable to calculate the data thoroughly and accurate
5. Capable to handle the plant / oleochemical manufacturing
6. Have highly integrity, honestly, highly motivation, highly analytical, has strong problem solving skills, good self interpersonnel and can work personally or team
7. Have strong leadership skills and able to lead a big team
8. Can use English well by writing or speaking
9. Be ready to place in Sei Mangkei (Site)
