The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you are a key member of our engineering teams working in our new, state of the art Kuala Lumpur office. As a Senior Software Engineer, you care deeply about technical alignment and engineering quality across the organisation. Within your agile engineering team, you work with your team members to uplift capability and productivity. You will often find yourself working closely with Product Manager and Principal Engineer driving for both customer outcomes and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build systems for purpose and applying current SEEK development practices
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and tools
• Implement monitoring and logging to help us better understand our system status
• Collaborate and engage with other engineers in delivering robust products while aligning to our overall technology strategy
• Growing technical capabilities of junior team members through coaching and mentoring
• Active participation in business performance discussions and Agile ceremonies

• You have solid web engineering experience. Here are some of the web technologies that we are currently using:
• ReactJS for our frontend applications
• Node.js for most of our backend web services
• Cloud technologies, such as AWS, Serverless and Docker - CI/CD and test automation
• You have an agile mindset with experience in lean thinking and agile practices
