- Coordinate, evaluate, recommend, and ensure compliance with all activities related to operational legal management in order to support the Company’s business operations.
- Resolving legal problems that occur in the company with applicable legal norms, as well as anticipating changes in laws, regulations, and other developing legal norms.
- Research, anticipate, and evaluate different legal issues regarding business planning, decisions, and operations to provide legal advice and opinions for the Company
- Minimizing legal problems that arise and adapting to the laws and regulations that are still in force.
- Help prepare company documentation for certain purposes, including but not limited to corporate actions such as mergers and acquisitions, licensing, restructuring and investment.
- Supervise and coordinate the team (Advocacy) for technical advocacy, litigation, non-litigation and company legal products for the benefit of the company's operations.
- Handling the preparation and review of contracts, especially for business or agreements with third parties, including in the fields of financial technology, digital products, leasing, loan agreements, electronic cooperation, managed services related to information technology, marketing support activities etc.
- Communicating and negotiating with external parties (Regulators, External Advisors, Public Authorities, etc.).
- Draft and strengthen agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure full legal rights of the company.
- Monitoring and managing corporate legal documents
- Support compliance regulatory matters including mandatory reporting, obtainment of regulatory approvals or acknowledgements from OJK, and/or other relevant government authorities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law
- Minimum 5 years experience as Legal
- Candidates from law firms or who have experience in the Financial sector are preferred and encouraged to apply.
- Have a business understanding in law.
- Have a good understanding & analytical thinking of agreement, contract, etc to avoid discrepancy and disadvantage to the company.
- Strong character and ability to give recommendations to companies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and experience in dealing with commercial contracts and extensive experience in interacting with regulators particularly with OJK is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of OJK, and AFPI Regulations including but not limited to reporting obligation and transaction monitoring.
- Good problem-solving skills, meticulousness, and high attention to details.
- Excellent agreements drafting, reviewing, and administration
- Experience and strong skills in corporate legal and regulatory compliance. Experience in litigation is a plus.
- Able to analyze legal case and provide solutions
- Highly interested in pursuing a Legal Career in the Financial Technology industry and fast paced working environment.
- Exceptional can-do attitude & relentlessly resourceful
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
