POSITION INTRODUCTORY:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Develop and assist the process and production improvement and/or projects by organizing process improvement or feasibility studies and implementation or any new initiatives in production. Assist and work together with other departments or project teams within the operation.Â
Responsibilities:
- Participate with engineering, production and product development on developing and setting departmental objectives.
- Assist on monitoring progress against the plans and taking action to address deviation issues in order to ensure the required process improvement activities, PM/M, progress and output are well maintained and achieved.
- Develop processing concepts, process enhancement, technical alternatives, preventive maintenance, designs, standards, test plans and assessment protocols under supervision.
- Apply scientific and engineering principles and techniques to analyze technologies, processes and products to ensure system improvements / standards / compliance.
- Participate in the preparation of schedules and estimates and maintain plans, timetables and resources requirements to ensure all activities meet the overall plan and standards.
- Produce and review documentations that describes a new product or process for manufacturing, legal or compliance purposes.
- Assist in purchase requisitions for equipment and contract service.
- Coordinate activities/tasks of technicians or less experienced professionals and contractors.
- Coordinate activities in area of process development and execution of manufacturing capacity and capability in production within the agreed quality, quantity, time and budget, in order to support current and anticipated business requirements in printing packaging manufacturing.
- Collaborate with other departments or project teams in operation projects and/or initiatives.
 Requirements:
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience as Process Engineer at Manufacturing company (printing company, cigarette packaging printing will be an advantage)
- Experience in process improvement plan and/or industrial engineering background
- Good knowledge in printing processes and printing machinery (Rotogravure/offset/flexo)
- Experience and hands on in mechanical and/or electronic of printing machinery
- Have good personality and able make an approach for all level.
- Good oral and written skills
- Good leadership skills that include being a self-starter
