As a member of the Legal team, you will work closely with company leaders and various stakeholders to develop, negotiate, and update commercial agreements across various commercial operations teams. You will be building up the legal infrastructure for the Migo operations for a fast-scaling startup that is aiming to have a footprint across all of Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal research, analysis, and opinion.
• Executing independent legal research especially related to general corporate matters, compliance, and employment.
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing various types of agreements (experience regarding content and media will be a plus point).
• Policy drafting and providing legal training to other departments within company.
• Providing legal advice and legal risk control for the operation of company and coordinating or liaising with customer or relevant stake holders for any legal matter as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as in-house legal counsel/law firm for 4-6 years’ experience.
• Experience in drafting (Indonesian and English) legal documentation.
• Business proficiency level of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience in startup company as legal corporate would be an advantage.
• Having an advocate license PERADI would be a plus point.
• Strong communication skills and analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time frames.
