Lowongan Public Relations & Government Affairs di PT Lami Packaging Indonesia

This role will ensure the excellence in the management of public and government affairs to meet business needs by developing and implementing communications strategies to improve company’s corporate images as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with elected officials, local government staff and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze communications needs, provides advice, action-oriented planning, and develops and implements communications strategies, approaches and initiatives
• Assists senior management and leadership with strategic planning for known and potential regulatory activities related to the business and industry
• Provides subject matter counsel and guidance to internal team members and external stakeholders relative to managing company issues in communities; coordinates with internal company leaders within the scope of specific issues being managed
• Conduct research and monitor legislation to see what changes could be advantageous and which trends might negatively impact the company in the future
• Develop strong external relationships with communities, businesses, government, industry associations, advocacy groups, and non-governmental organizations
• Promoting positive public awareness of the company through external communications
• Draft and edit reports, press releases, communication products (flyers, posters, leaflets, booklets etc.) and other documents as required 
• Act as a link between the media and organization to deliver the right message to a target audience

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations and other related fields
• A proven track record (8 - 10 years) working in the public policy, communications or media field
• Robust understanding of the current Indonesian political, legal and policy landscape
• Ability to synthesize and translate technically complex information into plain language communication products
• Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels
• Strong government contacts at local, regional and state levels
• Demonstrated experience in the development and use of multi-media communications
• High-level communication skills and ability to effectively engage with and influence stakeholders
