We are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join the Indonesia Office of a growing engineering consulting business.

Role Purpose and Key Accountabilities

In this role you will be reporting to the Finance Director. Key attributes will include:

- Prepare and file Income tax, FBT, GST, Branch tax and other relevant tax returns
- Preparation of monthly taxation workpapers
- Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly management and Board reports
- Undertake Finance compliance activities under direction
- Assist to coordinate and manage finance operational and compliance projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors and partners
- Contribute to the preparation of year end audit files
- Collaborate effectively with counterparts in other offices
- Understands thebroader team and manages expectations accordingly
- Participate professionally and enthusiastically within the Finance team and provide support on projects as directed
- Escalate complex enquiries onto Manager for response

KEY REQUIREMENT

Degree in Accountancy
Minimum 2 to 5 years’ relevant working experience in taxation (Tax Expense & Revenue, International Taxation)
Previous exposure at multinational company is preferable
Able to work independently and exercise initiatives
Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills
A team player. Able to interact and work with colleagues at various level and sections
Schedule driven and self-motivated
Able to commence within short notice period is an advantage
