Lowongan Vendor Management Specialist di PT Samudera Caraka Jasa

Job description: 

1. Vendor Selection: Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential vendors and service providers (e.g.: ocean carriers/liners, aircraft carriers, trucking vendors, co-loaders, garage/depot, warehouses, dooring agents, surveyors, etc.) and participate in vendor selection processes. 
2. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate vendor contracts, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs), to secure favorable terms for the organization. 
3. Vendor Performance: Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs). Address any performance issues promptly. 
4. Pricing Performance: Coordinate with Pricing Supervisor to monitor internal pricing performance against SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs). Address any performance issues promptly. 
5. Tender Preparation: prepare company documents and requirements as a vendor in project registration, tenders, bidding, etc. 
6. Relationship Management: Cultivate positive and collaborative relationships with vendors, fostering open communication and conflict resolution as needed. 
7. Cost Management: Work to optimize costs and ensure cost-effective vendor relationships, while maintaining quality standards. 
8. Compliance: Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company policies. 
9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships. Develop contingency plans as needed. 
10. Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of goods and services provided by vendors. Implement quality improvement initiatives. 
11. Data Analysis: Analyze vendor performance data and market trends to make informed decisions and recommendations. 
12. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and compliance for management review. 

Requirements: 

1. Candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree from any field. Business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.  
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management. 
3. Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred. 
4. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia. 
5. Deep knowledge in freight forwarding industry and/or logistics. 
6. Able to work with deadlines and strong negotiation and contract management skills. 
7. Adaptable and capable of managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously. 
8. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Ms. Office and relevant software tools. 
9. Relevant industry-specific certifications may be advantageous.
