Competency:

• Production Planning & Scheduling Background including production project management: PERT and Critical Path Analysis
• Understands and can explain MTS, MTO, ROP, MPS, MRP, Capacity Constraint, etc, philosophies and their benefits to an organization.
• Ability to maintain availability of inventory considering lead time, aging time and cost concern.
• Proficiency with TQM process evaluation techniques

Requirement:

• Significant experience in similar role working in a warehousing, production / manufacturing environment
• Application of lean / continuous improvement tools & technique in low volume high value production/manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing within an ISO quality management system or equivalent
• Proven track record of driving delivery, performance and continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Assist in development of operations strategy to achieve organization objectives.
• Lead analysis of operations planning and to develop policy recommendations to positively influence the quality of operations planning.
• Lead capacity planning activities and which ensuring optimize manufacturing efficiency and costs.
• Responsible leading the inventory planning process includes monitoring inventory levels and for ordering and forecasting materials to replenish those inventory levels.
• Perform and engage with the cross functional team (Production, Maintenance, Logistic, Procurement, Operations Accounting, Finance, and General function), to analyze business requirements, planning, and operating forecast and ensure that a balanced and de-conflicted programme of work.
• Oversee the production of finished goods and Sales Orders fulfilment and appropriate schedules for work over short-term, medium-term and long-term planning horizons, integrating resource planning, materials, estimating and forecasting.
• Develop performance dashboard and performing month-to-month, forecast-to-forecast, & full year variance performance reporting for management and analysis of Operations/Planning performance and issue reports / KPIs as required
• Providing budget process to ensure forecasts are realistic, expenses are calendarized properly and plan are within authorized levels
• To work with key business stakeholders, and ‘LEAN champions, to build a culture of continuous improvement environment and encourage best practice to support an ongoing programme of change and standard ways of working across the function.
