Job Title:

HEAD OF EXPORT-IMPORT, reporting to President Director.

Purpose / Objective:

This senior manager position will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to lead and supervise a team of Export Import staffs, providing

guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the movement of Imported Ocean containers to the plant, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This includes acquiring the necessary import quota on Steel components and the related survey at Country of Origin.

• Proactively identify and address any issues with shipments, working with all stakeholders to find solutions and resolve problems.

• Collaborate closely with transportation providers to ensure smooth execution of defined processes, including confirming shipment ETA's, reviewing routing, confirming shipping line, government agencies and port releases, requesting/confirming wire payments, scheduling delivery appointments, dispatching orders, and confirming empty container returns.

• Overseeing the preparation of accurate PIB (Preliminary Importer's Bill) for each assigned shipment, following established procedures, and raise any discrepancies.

• Audit invoicing and work with Accounting and forwarders to resolve any discrepancies as needed.

• Constantly seek ways to improve clearance efficiency and negotiate freight costs with forwarders for export shipments, aiming for cost reduction, freight savings, and improved service.

Essential Criteria:

• Preference for Indonesian nationals, with a minimum age range of 35-40 years, regardless of gender.

• Minimum requirement of a university degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field of importation.

• Critical requirement of a proven link to government institutions such as Kemenperin and Kemendag, ensuring a smooth and reliable process for acquiring Rencana Kebutuhan (RK) and ultimately Persetujuan Import (PI) Besi & Baja.

• Mandatory possession of a personal car for daily operational use.

• Residence in close proximity to Karawang, West Java.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and results-oriented mindset. Emphasis on speed as a critical aspect of the candidate's performance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Professional and presentable appearance, with a positive and likable personality, and a proven ability to build rapport.

• Fluency in written and spoken English communication is required.
