Ocean Freight Export Import Team Leader

Responsibilities :

• Receive Pre-Alerts from overseas partners, initial document checks for matching data and completeness of documents provided.
• Confirms receipt and completeness to overseas partner.
• Ensures receipt of handling/billing instructions from either Sales and Marketing Department or overseas partner.
• Informs consignee of upcoming shipment or passes.
• Create Job file in FMS and print out “Cover Sheet – Detail shipment“ to attached with the job file and put note on each job status while processing a shipment.
• Ensure timely manifest amendment in order to avoid penalties. Keep record of amendment in file.
• Keep consignee and/or overseas partners updated on vessel arrival.
• Ensure timely payment of charges due to customs, port-authorities, Shipping Lines or Co-loader and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate with external customs broker or Company shipping team to prepare customs entry form or in case we handle for trucking these docs for arrange truck and delivery to consignee.
• Coordination with PIB Officer for creating PIB in case Rhenus is handling the customs clearance.
• Ensures the Milestone is key in accordingly to the timeline of job processing.
• Ensure smooth follow up and monitoring for the entire shipment flow.
• Report any job-related problems, complaints to Superior.

Qualification :

• University graduate in any fields.
• Have a good service mind.
• Able to operate under pressure.
• Able to operate PC and have a good knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the same position 3-5 years
• Can communicate English and Bahasa both spoken and written effectively.
• Capable of handling and dealing with different level people.
• Display flexibility and can motivate people for excellent results.
• Must be organized.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English and Bahasa
