Lowongan Automation Technical Specialist di PT Epiroc Southern Asia

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of Automation Technical Specialist is to deliver high-level technical support and competence to Epiroc customers. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used in industrial mining to ensure a high customer satisfaction. These duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers.

Main Responsibilities :

• Be in charge of the successful operation of Epiroc automated and technically advanced equipment on site to ensure that all issues are efficiently resolved.
• Lead and drive technical communication with Technical Service internationally when necessary to resolve issues.
• Provide structured diagnosis and troubleshooting of automation/technology systems.
• Carry out machine commissioning, testing, calibration and other in-field technical procedures.
• Support site technicians in general troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Support the development of the site technicians(Internal and External) through knowledge sharing, trainings and the creation of diagnostic and troubleshooting material.
• Continuously work to improve Epiroc customer satisfaction overall but especially in relation to Epiroc Automation and Digitalization equipment.

Educational Background

• Hold High School or Diploma Degree preferably in the field of electronics or electrics. 

Experience

• Having minimal of 2 years experience as technician in the field of mining or construction.
• Experience in electrical field is preferred.

Skill & Knowledge

• Basic mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic knowledge.
• International Standard Failure Analysis (AFA).
• Tooling knowledge.
• Computer literate (ability in using and configuring standard windows applications).
• Ability to effectively communicate well in English, both oral and written.

Technical Competencies
