Job Scope:

To take charge and lead the technical department in all aspects of maintenance, repair and engineering. Fully responsible towards the overall plant assets, machine and equipment's productivity improvement, loss elimination, preventive maintenance systems, all while ensuring that target delivery and performance levels are duly met in efficient, accurate and timely manners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the Maintenance & Engineering department and assign resources for all maintenance activities with focus on improving the machinery and equipment's performance and reliability to maintain the plant operations. 
• Coordinate and supervise all Maintenance & Engineering personnel including improvement in response times to breakdowns and completion of all paperwork within the department.
• To be hands-on in identifying and troubleshooting root cause issues in the department and implement corrective and preventive quality action plans.
• Fault finding and repairing of machinery following breakdown, ensure minimum disruption to production and safe operation of all plant.
• Improve preventive maintenance system to effectively reduce unplanned downtime and maximize productivity. 
• Oversee daily maintenance and coordinate the services and planned maintenance of all machinery on site and ensure the safe working of all employees.
• Organize and supervise all engineering personnel to maintain agreed standard servicing levels and cover for breakdowns over agreed timescale.
• Work with Production and Quality management to initiate and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to achieve Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). 
• Manage, coordinate and supervise all external contractors in accordance with company policies and audit/legal requirements.
• Monitor and control budgets within the department.
• Prevention of dangerous practices and responsible for reporting and resolving and health and safety issues.
• Ensure all technical records are properly documented and reviewed in high confidentiality, and organize all paperwork in accordance to ISO system and regular audits from clients.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Maximum 45 yo, Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, resides in Jakarta/Tangerang area. Willing to work flexible hours when needed.
• Personal Competencies: Self-starter & Team player, Well organized, Result & Detail oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
• Working Experience: minimum 10 years of working experience in a GMP environment in printing/paper/packaging company or automotive industry, at least 5 years in supervisory level as assistant manager.
• Skills: Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/SAP, AutoCAD), Communication skill, Leadership and Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skill, Strong analytical skills, Understand technical and electrical drawing.
• Languages: Proficiency in English both spoken and written. Ability to understand and converse in Mandarin is an advantage. 
• Others: Able to handle and work under pressure to meet all project targets and tight deadlines. Knowledge in PLC, TPM, HACCP, Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
